WARNING: There is NO SUCH THING as an ambigram generator download.

We wanted to issue this special warning as some less-than-honest torrent sites are now reporting bogus software downloads that capitalize on the popular “ambigram generator” keywords that are used in search engines to label their malware.

For example, this is one listing that reports what is “available for download”:

As we mentioned in our previous article on ambigram generators, an ambigram generator contains potentially tens of thousands of characters and a huge amount of logic to operate. There would be no practical way to create an ambigram generator “download”.  All legitimate ambigram generators operate exclusively over the Internet (which is the most efficient way to use them anyway).

Let’s state that very clearly, so there is no doubt:

EVERY SINGLE SO-CALLED “DOWNLOAD” OF AN AMBIGRAM GENERATOR IS BOGUS.

Yes, every one of them. There is no such thing. So, what are these downloads? They are viruses, trojan horses, malware and other types of nasty software that you definitely do NOT want on your computer.

We will immediately update this page if a legitimate ambigram generator download ever exists, but there is no such thing today.
